How do I request a bulk quote for clinic or laboratory supplies?
Last updated
To request a bulk quote for clinic or laboratory supplies, send the supplier an itemised list with exact specifications, quantities, your delivery address and your required delivery date. HoliMed quotes institutional orders for clinics, hospitals, laboratories, schools and LGU procurement across Negros and the Visayas.
Most quoting delays are caused by an underspecified request. A line reading 'test tubes, 500 pcs' can mean a dozen different products at three different price points, so the supplier has to come back with questions before they can quote — and every round trip costs a day.
Include these and you will get one accurate quote back
- Item description with specification — size, volume, material, sterility, and brand if you require a specific one.
- Quantity and the unit you want it priced in (piece, box, case).
- Whether an equivalent substitute is acceptable, or whether the brand is fixed.
- Complete delivery address including municipality and province.
- Required delivery date, and whether partial delivery is acceptable.
- Documentation your procurement process requires — official receipt, delivery receipt, certificate of analysis, or FDA registration proof.
- Your payment terms, and any purchase-order reference the quote must carry.
For government and LGU procurement
Philippine government procurement runs under RA 9184 and its implementing rules, which impose specific documentary and process requirements on both buyer and supplier. State up front that the request is for public procurement, and name the modality involved, so the supplier can attach the correct documentation from the start.
